I got my medical degree at McGill, did my neurosurgical residency at the Montreal Neurological Institute and did a Fellowship at Stanford. Texas Spine and Neurosurgery has a local satellite clinic located in Kenedy where we see patients living in Portland and the surrounding regions. Patients can be treated locally with all of their conservative therapy care options. If a patient needs surgical therapy, they are able to undergo their procedure in Cuero. We treat herniated discs, spinal stenosis, radiculopathy, spondylolisthesis, spondylosis, pars defects, spinal fractures, back pain, neck pain, carpal tunnel, and many other disorders of the spine and nerves. We are skilled in the use of both microsurgical and minimally invasive procedures on the neck and back, as well as more complicated procedures. At Texas Spine and Neurosurgery, we can also do lumbar, thoracic, and cervical discectomies, laminectomies, and fusions. In order to ensure quality, all our partners which provide operative locations must meet our strict standards for excellence. To that end, we both require and provide specific training for staff both inside and outside the operating room. Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
Dr. Zielinski has routinely performed minimally invasive spine surgery since 1997. In patients that qualify, it is a great way to relieve pain quickly and ensure a smaller incision, with very little down time. Patients who undergo minimally invasive spine surgery are typically able to return home on the same day of their surgery. The minimally invasive approach also tends to decrease the amount of pain associated with surgery. We know your time and ability to return to your regular activities are important.
